Early animation masterpiece by Hayao Miyazaki, offering an exciting adventure with the nephew of master thief Arsène Lupin.
As a master thief, Lupin III knows what he owes to the famous name of his grandfather Arsène Lupin. That is why he is not at all pleased when the loot from a robbery at a casino in Monaco turns out to be counterfeit money. His attempt to get to the bottom of the matter leads him and his partner Daisuke Jigen to the small European principality of Cagliostro. The task there is not only to uncover the counterfeiting ring, but also to free a princess and find a treasure.
